First year Computer Science PhD student @ The University of Utah
About Me
I am a first year computer science PhD student at the Kahlert School of Computing & Scientific Computing and Imaging Institute at the University of Utah. I am grateful to be supervised by Dr. Mike Kirby (opens new window) and Dr. Shandian Zhe (opens new window). I am broadly interested in AI for science & engineering, scientific machine learning, and the theoretical foundations of machine learning (with a particular interest in probabilistic machine learning). I completed my undergraduate degree in computer science from the University of Minnesota-Twin Cities under the supervision of Dr. Vipin Kumar (opens new window). My honors thesis was titled "Deep Learning to Address Data Sparsity in Climate Change Monitoring (opens new window)".
